What I really enjoyed about this photograph was being able to capture the image of this bird without having to zoom in or do anything out of the ordinary. It walked beside me and then just enough ahead of me to keep its safe distance yet remain in my line of sight. We both enjoyed the foam and waves of the ocean and shared a moment together. One of the highlights in this photograph for me is the bright sunflower yellow of its feet against the blues and white of the ocean waves.
