There was a warm tropical mist in the air and it was a delightful surprise to happen upon this little guy that I would have typically overlooked. But there he was, scooting across my feet and resting for just a moment on the foot of this statue. His striking coloration captured my attention and made for a perfect contrast with the tones of grey in the cast of the statue.
