On a relaxing early morning drive along the back roads through the mountains, we looked over with surprise to see this young Moose leisurely grazing on pond weeds in the water near the road. I decided to reduce the noise of color in this photograph and accentuate the simplicity of black and white to set the mood we felt when observing her.
